James Carson Sr. (from "Dillinghams of Big Ivy, Buncombe Co,Nc" family book) died between 1824 and 1830. Father of William Carson b. aug,1793 - d. aug,1846... Book doesn't say wheen he was born just when he died. The best I can tell from other forums his father was most likely a William. My guess is they were of the PA Carsons.
