The test was helpful to me in sorting out my Carson paternal line (originated in PA) as to which other lines are closely related and which ones are not. In some cases there were unrelated Carson families in the same area (gets confusing). Here's a link to the results of participants so far (they list the earliest ancestor in most cases).
