In a 1784 deed in Iredell, Lindsey sold his land inherited from his father William Carson (deceased) and is referred to as the eldest son of William. Some of the other Carsons in the Rowan may connect. Stephanie Carson Feldman descends from Uriah Carson of Surry. You might find her postings and email her. We've been trying to sort out these multiple lines for awhile. My Carson line seems to be in the area c1760 before going east then west.
