Indeed, your David Carson (born c1746, son of Robert Carson born 1717) didn't have a dtr named Martha according to the information you had sent me awhile back. I have your David listed with children named Robert, James, George, Rachel (m. Alexander Blair), Hiram, Mary Anne (married George Young), and David. Your Carson line is the one with the YDNA match with my Carson line (Robert Carson born c1730). My line moved from Lancaster/Paxtang and Cumberland PA 1760s to NC then TN (branches in SC, GA, AL, AR, TX, CA). Also in this related group were Moses Carson born 1737 (married Elizabeth Hannah) and some others. A few months ago, a descendant of a William Carson born 1720 who was in Cumberland PA matched our Carson paternal line as well.
