Are any of you related to a Carson line that ended up in Canada?. My great aunt corresponded with a cousin in Pennsylvania when she was alive (around 1960//70)- unfortunately I don't know the particulars and when she passed away no one thought to keep her address book. One says he was born in Scotland and was William Carson grandfather, while the other one says he was born in Ireland and was William's father. When you look at both it appears that nearly every PA Carson was related to him in some way. I'm don't say that William wasn't descended from him...I just have seen any proof. I have a couple pet theories I have been considering: 1) Why was William's eldest son named Lindsey? I suspect their is a connection to a Lindsey family in his near ancestry. 2) there appears to be a connection to a Black family (name not race). Good luck with the PA Carson's. They are quite a handful! ============================== Search the US Census Collection. Over 140 million records added in the last 12 months. Largest online collection in the world.
