I noticed you mentioned Carsons in Virginia---I have Henry Carson born 1720 with sons Isaac and William born 1742 and 1743. Isaac was in Augusta Co. Va and had children Jane, Abraham, Mary and Agnes. Not sure if Henry was in VA. but may have been. Any of these look familiar? Jackie
