Marilyn; I have been searching for my great great grandfather's family from New Jersey for a long, long time and no luck. He married a DeVoss (DeVose) from Indiana or Ohio and migrated to Northern Missouri. His name was David Carson, born in 1812, I think. One census report had him bornin 1812; another had it as 1825.
