Carson who is working on this line because I have gone as far as I can on my own. John James Alexander Carson was born 06 Nov 1878 in Ecclefechan, Dumfriesshire, Scotland. His father, James E. Carson, was born abt 1844 in Dalbeattie, Dumfriesshire, Scotland and was a school teacher. Family lore is that James was married three times. First wife produced 4 children: Robert, Hugh, Elizabeth and Christina. Second wife, who I think was named Clemetine, produced one child: John J A Carson, and the third wife, Lizzie, produced Agnes, James, Nellie and three more children that I don't know because the lore also goes that James Carson sired 11 children altogether. Sometimes after 1886, the family moved to Lambeth, London, England where James was a schoolmaster. The lore continues that John joined the British Army in the Boer War. After that he immigrated and ended up in Detroit, Michigan, where he married my gGrandmother, Margaret Will Swirles in 1907. Is there anyone else out there related and researching this family?
