I am skeptical that the Samuel Carson of York Co., PA is the brother of William Carson of Rowen Co., NC. The supplement for McClungs book (3 times larger than the original) mentions a (1753?)NC will for a William Carson, who mentions his "cuzin" William Carson as well as a Samuel Carson both of Rowen County, NC. The will mentions several others including a brother Robert and wife and daughters. I find it difficult to beleive Samuel of York PA and Samuel of Rowen NC are the same individual. Of course the "cuzin" William Carson of Rowen NC is the grandfather of Kit. Not to ad insult to injury but I have never seen a proof that Kit's granfther William is related to Alexander Harvey Carson...in fact I haven't seen any proof Alex exists. Please prove me wrong!
