I actually think Margaret McCord's parents were David McCord (died 1758 by Indians) and Jane Lowry. William and Margaret named a daughter Jennet (Little Jane) and a son David. Some claim Margaret moved to Mecklenburg NC and married a Query but I think that was a niece. I think DAvid and William of Lancaster, Orange Washington TN were brothers. They both named their second daughters Mary, indicating both had a mother by that name. William named his oldest known son William. David had a David Jr but there might have been an older son.
