There were several Carsons (David, William, Moses, Robert, John, Alexander and James) all born c1730s-1740 that seem to connect. David, William, Moses and Robert were married in Lancaster Co PA 1753-1763 then moved down to Caswell or Orange Co NC. Alexander and James in Orange NC apparently connect somehow. David, William, Moses and possibly Robert moved to Washington Co TN (listed as VA initially). 1783-1787 as did some others that may connect. There were several Davids among their sons/grandsons. There was a Samuel Carson in Sullivan TN c1790. Did you find out any more on your VA line? Gary
