This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. Author: DanielTroublefield Surnames: Carson, McCullough, Thompson Classification: will Message Board URL: http://boards.rootsweb.com/surnames.carson/2914/mb.ashx Message Board Post: This William Carson Sr. was the son of Samuel Carson and Jane Patterson Carson of Londongrove, Chester, Pennsylvania. William was a brother of my ancestor Elizabeth Carson, wife of Abraham McCarter (McArthur). William died before 1 July 1811 when his will was proved. Little seems to be known about some of his children. I didn't know before transcribing these papers that William's and Susannah's daughter Rebecca Carson married a William Thompson (Tompson in the will). More information is known about two of William's daughters Mary and Susannah (Junior) than about the others. I'd like to know more about the other children: Francis, William Jr., Martha McCullough, and Samuel. Mary & Susannah moved to Georgia (Clarke County). Did any of the others move there, too?
