Surnames: Classification: queries Message Board URL: http://boards.rootsweb.com/surnames.carson/1770.1/mb.ashx Message Board Post: In June of 2004 several ladies from the Pulaski County Historical Society and myself were visiting Rock Springs Cemetery in Rockcastle County. We discovered that there were several graves outside the fenced cemetery. The stones are broken and lying flat on the ground. Cattle are allowed to run in this pasture. Regardless we found the headstone of one Samuel Carson. Stone reads: In Memory of Samuel Carson Born Sept 12, 1783 and died 1847 This is likely one of these Carsons.
