CARSON, JOHN A., an attorney of Salem, was born in the County of Down, Ireland, November 30, 1860, and was educated at Trinity College. He was admitted to the bar in Toronto, Canada, in 1886. In 1889 he came to Oregon and located in Salem. He has taken an active part as a Republican, and was a delegate to the league in 1895 and 1896.
