Dany, I've found some Rutherford evidence that suggests my David Carson connects to those and the ones in Rowan (circumstantial). John Withrow (Mary Withrow married John Carson) deeded land in Rutherford/Rowan to John Carson. John Withrow in Rutherford (her brother or father..not sure which) was next door to Matthew Patterson in 1782. Matthew is the assumed father of Catherine, wife of my David Carson. Also, Lindsey and Robert Carson from Rowan NC were in Madison Co KY 1792 with a John Carson whose descendant is a perfect DNA match for me. My Carson line seems to connect to New Castle, DE Carsons (and Chester PA possibly) and to Lancaster/York PA Carsons, some of which came down to Rowan and Rutherford. My line went to Orange/Caswell for awhile, then to TN, then back to NC. I'm still sorting this all out. Gary
