Indiana, is the daughter of Elizabeth and Riley SWAIM. The dates on this Huldah SWAIM's tombstone are almost gone, but "died 1853" is still legible. If Huldah SWAIM CARSON, wife of John CARSON is buried in Tangier Cemetery, Parke Co. IND, she has no tombstone. Also, Two other children of Huldah SWAIM and John CARSON (in addition to Adah L. CARSON) are buried in Tangier Cemetery: 1. William CARSON, infant(?) son of J. & H. CARSON. This William CARSON died JUL 17, 1859, age 7 months and 11 days. 2. (Unnamed) Infant son of J. & H. CARSON born and died Sept. 9, 1860. One of these children is probably the William M. CARSON, age 1 died JUL 1860, Adams Twp., Parke Co. Indiana, mentioned on the 1860 mortality schedule of Parke Co. Indiana.
