I also wanted to mention that you can do the 12 marker for $99 (group price) and then upgrade if you want to, which you would if you had exact 12/12 matches, as that would refine the relationship. Gary has a 25/25 match now and waiting on the last set of the 37. If they match 37/37, both of them will probably consider the 67 upgrade, which is as high as it gets. Now, I'm NOT an expert at this, but a complete 67 match is only going to be a couple generations away from the common ancestor. Anyway, I'm going to do the "layaway" plan and do the 12 first, then upgrade, and maybe upgrade again. Yes, you can pay for someone else's test, all females need to do that. I'm paying for my father's. It is recommended to do the oldest generation that you can. It must be a male Carson that got his surname from a male Carson, all the way back as far as you know it. If one male in the chain was adopted or took his surname from his mother, then his Y-DNA is NOT Carson. --- Sheila Pool <[email protected]> wrote: > Another Carson descendant here......I would like to > know more about the price, etc.
