Suzie, I have my Carson family back to an Andrew Carson who died 1837 in Marshall Co., Ms. He married Sarah Howard, probably in Al. I know of 5 children: Mary Ann (Carson) Knight, William Stewart Carson, Margaret Jane (Carson) Bailey, Elizabeth C. Carson (Woolley and John W. Carson. Could this possibly be the same Andrew Carson? No. Andrew Carson died in 1841 in Iredell County NC. His son, Andrew Washington Carson, died in 1862 in Henry County TN. I have visited both of their gravesites. Thanks for checking, though.
