To date we have that he had two brothers; James b. abt, 1796 in NC, d. bef 1890 in MO and William Carroll b. 1804 in VA d. 1857 in Lawrence County, Arkansas. Robert married Ann Unknown abt 1815 in TN and had it is thought at least 9 children. They were William b. bet 1815 -1820 TN who was deaf and dumb per the 1850 Census and is not living with his parents in the 1860 census, Nancy Carroll b 1821 TN, d. before 1920 in Scott County, MO, Jane b. bet 1822-1823 TN, Third Girl b. bet 1823-1825, Second boy b. bet 1825-1828 TH, Charles b. 1829 TN d. 2 Jan 1879 Kelso, Scott County, MO, Third boy b. bet 1830-1834, Fourth boy b. bet 1835-1839,Jasper Newton b. 31 Oct. 1842 Graves County, Kentucky d. 10 May 1915 Pocahontas, Randolph, Ark.
