Then others that say that Martha SWANCEY/SWANSEA's husband was Joseph Elias CARROLL. The only time I have seen the name Elias is in the will of Joseph CARRELL/CARROLL m. to Martha SWANSEA in which he leaves a Sorrel horse, bridle, saddle & some land to his son Joseph, and to his three youngest children...Elias, Marsha and Isabell he leaves Will's price after he has been sold to be divided equally among the three youngest.
