Janet, I thought I would see if I could find a place that had archived obituaries. I went to http://www.tribute.com/ and found a commercial software company. I suspect your letter was speaking of the Tributes held at another website. As Jane said, if we had more information, someone might be able to help you. I found him in the SSDI database :-( The newspaper doesn't have his obit in archives but Tribute.com does. | | Does anyone have a subscription to Tribute.com that could take a minute to grab the obit for me? | | He was the "Wondering Gypsy" of the family and as far as we know he never married. I would like to know where he was buried as well, to make sure he has a proper stone and flowers. | | Blessings, | Janet in Autryville, NC | | My Carroll's are from Lee Co, Durham Co, and Cherokee area.
Thank you all for your inquiries. I have just found that there is NO obituary for my Uncle. Apparently he died as an indigent and as such there was no information available for an obituary. Thank you again for all your help and offers of assistance. Blessings, Janet
