Hi Janet, I hope you take this advice in the spirit it is meant. First of all, I do not have a subscription to Tribute.com and in fact have never heard of it before. But, if I did, you have not given enough information for anyone to search, i.e., a name would be nice, either of your adopted father, or his brother. If you are looking for an obit. then you must surely have a death date or a date range. Most genealogists are very helpful but with a surname like Carroll, the more details you give, the better. Good luck in your search. Jane In a message dated 6/7/2009 8:08:55 P.M. I was "googling" my adopted father's brother of whom I haven't seen in 40 years. I found him in the SSDI database :-( The newspaper doesn't have his obit in archives but Tribute.com does. Does anyone have a subscription to Tribute.com that could take a minute to grab the obit for me? He was the "Wondering Gypsy" of the family and as far as we know he never married. I would like to know where he was buried as well, to make sure he has a proper stone and flowers.
