Hello, My Carroll family originated in County Cork. John Carroll was born in 1828 and came to the US in 1847-48. He settled in East Stoughton (now Avon), Massachusetts. He married Anne Moran from County Leitrim in 1851 in Quincy, MA. They had many children...James, John, Thomas, William, Ellen, Charles, Mary Anne and more. I have all children accounted for except James. He disappeared around 1881 or so. I have not been able to track him down. Anyone with any info on this family, please contact me. Thanks, Sara
