Martin Carroll and his wife Margaret both b. ca. 1810. Martin's obit states he was born in County Kerry. Before Martin and Margaret emigrated they had three daughters: Mary b. 1841 Bridget b. 1843 Julia b. 1845 The family arrived in Burlington, Iowa ca. 1852. Martin died 1881, Margaret died 1889. Both buried in Burlington Mary married M. William Sheehan, their offspring moved to San Francisco, Galesburg and Chicago, Illinois Bridget married Daniel Madden, their children spent their adult years in Chicago Julia married Edward Mackin their only son died in 1899 Gerry
