Is anyone researching the Carrolls in CT and RI. Have info in CT but am stuck on two. Asa Carroll claims to be born in Killingly, CT no vital. Birth date is 1842. His father Ephraim death certificate states the he was born in Providence no vital. Asa's middle name is Dowe. I figure this must have meant something to somebody.
