I am also a female CARROLL descendant with roots in Co. Tipperary, Ireland, at least I think so. There are no male descendants from this line (cousins, uncles,etc.) that I am aware of. My g-grandfather was William CARROLL, b. 1837-1846, supposedly in Co. Tipperary, Ireland. He married Anna MINTON, ca. 1874, probably in Hardin Co., KY. He died 1889 in Cannelton, Perry Co., IN. Like you, I don't have anything about his parents or his Port of Entry. I have been told that the CARROLL surname is quite common in Co. Tipperary.
