Carroll McKees Rocks (pa,) Russell Charles Carroll, 90, of McKees Rocks, passed Monday, Dec. 28, 2009. He was the beloved husband of Josephine "Jay" Carroll for 63 years; loving father of Nancy Coupland and her late husband, Robert, of Trafford, and Sally Ryan and her husband, Bernard, of Highland Park / Pittsburgh; proud grandfather of Megan Coupland Dunn and her husband, Robert, Brian Coupland and Michael and Kate Ryan; brother of Roy Carroll and John "Jack" Carroll and his wife, Marlene; brother-in-law of Mary Carroll and Clara (Smorul) Faherty and her husband, James, of Deerfield Beach, Fla.; also survived by many nephews, nieces and cousins, whom he loved dearly. He was preceded in death by brothers, Howard, Richard "Dick" and Eugene "Gene" Carroll; and sister, Joyce McCarthy. Russell was an Army veteran of World War II, retired from Kerotest Manufacturing and a cherished friend to all.
