Searching for information on DELINA CARROLL and CHARLES BALLARD CHUMBLEY from Claiborne Co, Tenn. Delina was b. abt 1814-15 and is believed to be the daughter of WILLIAM CARROLL who died in Claiborne Co. bet. 1830-40. Charles and Delina were married in 1836. He died in 1847 in the War with Mexico leaving Delina to raise their seven children. DELINA CARROLL also had a brother named WILLIAM H. CARROLL who married NANCY BALDRIDGE in 1849.
