Lura, I don't know if you have received an answer to your question or not but the FHC acronym stands for "Family History Center(s)". Family History Centers are found in LDS (Mormon) chapels (and some other facilities) all over the world and are great places to access the big collection of genealogical records located in Salt Lake City.
