The name of the book is "Virginia Carrolls and Their Neighbors 1618 - 1800s" by Elizabeth Carroll Foster. I bought mine from Heritage Books when they were in my area at a Genealogy Fair. The cost was $24.50. You can find Heritage Books on the Internet also. My Benjamin Carroll was born December 25, 1753 in Orange County, NC, and died January 31, 1846. He married Nancy Peeler January 13, 1786 in Orange County, NC. He was the son of Stephen Carroll, who was born about 1733 and supposedly immigrated from Ireland with two brothers. There are lots of other Benjamins in the area of the surrounding counties.
