Oh gosh I don't think so! Try the Carroll website sent to the list a few minutes ago. I believe those Carroll's came here about that time! As for Maddens, I have a Hezekiah Madden, born August 6, 1812 in Virginia and died May 10, 1891 in Rawles Twp, Mills County, Iowa. He is buried in the Malvern Cemetery. In between Virginia and IA, they were in Muskegum County, OH; Putnam County, OH and then to Mills County in 1864. His wife's name was Mary. They travelled throughout these counties/states with the Fickle, Barnett and Wilson families. I left our letters intact below as I am sending this back to the Carroll List and on to the Madden list.
