In searching for links to the Shelton surname, I ordered the Guion Miller application for a Christopher C. Carroll. There was no link, but there was quite a lot of family info. For those of you who do not know, Guion Miller was appointed by an act of congress to distribute a fund compensating those of Cherokee ancestry. Needless to say, money was involved and there was a lot of fraud.
