My g-grandfather, JOHN CASWELL HOWELL was b ca 1820 NC, d 1883 Milltown, Berrien Co, GA & according to info from a paternal aunt, now deceased, was from Wake Co, NC prior to moving down into GA. I also have a CARROLL line w/JESSE (b ca 1750); JOHN b ca 1770; MARGARET b ca 1799 --- these CARROLLs were in Duplin & Sampson Cos. Do you know anymore on that HOWELL CARROLL?
