He m. Sarah Bowman b. abt. 1812 in probably Anderson Co. Ch; Nancy b. 1830, William b. 1832, James Wesley b. 1834, Morton, Jr. b. 1837, Sherwood (Sherd) b. abt. 1839 and Sarah, Jr. b. 1840. Sarah Bowman may be the daughter of Sherwood Bowman who died in 1829 in Anderson County. Sarah, Sr. m. 2nd Fielding Low/Lowe and moved to Campbell County, Tn. where her children grew up and married.
