Who is this? Lemuel Carroll married Elizabeth Lloyd July 27, 1804 in Orange County. Is he related to Benjamin Carroll? Moses Carell as bondsman for James Cheek and Polley Hobbs February 15, 1809 in Orange County. Would he be a brother of Benjamin? Does anyone know if any of the Benjamin Carrolls of Orange County was a preacher? I have only the following lead to my family. "The great grandfather of my son Carroll (would be born mid 1700's) owned a farm in three miles of Raleigh North Carolina. He had several sons: One Benjamin, who became a preacher, John and Calvin went to Louisiana (John born 1812, Calvin circa 1825) There was also a Moses.
