Hi Carrolls, My Carrolls start with the 1850 Dade Co GA census. it reads: Jackson Carroll, 33 farmer b SC July 16, 1816 Nancy Carroll, 29 b AL March 17, 1821 They were next door to her parents James Stewart b NC abt 1790 and Lucy Stewart b GA abt 1806. Jackson and Nancy Carroll's children were: James Carroll Elizas J. Carroll Milla A. Carroll Symeon R. Carroll Elizabeth M. Carroll Lucy C. Carroll William J. Carroll Melvin L. Carroll Martha A. Carroll Mary Emma Carroll (My Grandmother) Jackson Lee Carroll William, Melvin, Mary Emma and Jackson along with their Mother migrated to Faulkner Co AR abt 1882. Melvin continued on to Dallas.
