Still looking for information on William Carroll. I have limited information on William’s wife Mary, largely from her obituary (Bedford Gazette October 5, 1900) which lists the children—Joseph of Allegan MI, William of Calloway NE (my line), Wilson of MD, Catharine Nicodemus of New Paris, Mrs. Annie Relogle of MD, Mrs. Hannah Kuntzman of Holidaysburg, anmd Mrs. Matilda Pluck of Schellsbery. Mary was born in Bedford County on March 20, 1814. The “1860 Unreadable Census: Schellsburg Borough” lists William Correl (and the above children with the exception of the oldest) as from New York City. Any information on William who is listed as 51 in 1860 (assume birth date of 1809 and from New York City) would be sincerely appreciated. Fred Samson.
