My brick wall in my Carroll line is Phillip and Betsey Carroll C 1812 in NC. My ancestor listed them as his parents in a late-life marriage in Lee County, Va in 1878. My ancestor William James Carroll was born abt 1812 (census). He and Nancy had four children born in NC starting in 1837 with William James Carroll. By 1850, they had moved to Va and moved on to Lee County, VA in the mid-1850s. I have not been able locate this family in NC. Any help would be appreciated. Chuck email "teflon@visuallink.com"
