I'm new to the list & would like to post my names. I'm looking for the family of Benjamin R. Carroll of Jackson Co., AL. In 1860 census, Benjamin is living, as HOH, with Salena Morgan (b. 1810-1816) & I believe she may be his sister. He's listed as 33. Also in the house are John A. Carroll(8), Paralee Jane(3), & Louisa(1). In 1875, Ben m. Leanora "Leathy" Jones. Skip to 1900 Walker Co., Ga. Salena Morgan's dau., Samantha Paralee, m. Madison Durham. In 1900, 3 of Madison's sisters & their families are in the Walker Co. census. Living next door to them is John R. Carroll & wife Octavia with 2 children. Next door is the John F. Lusk family & living with them is a Nancy McCarroll b. abt. 1853. I would like to know who Ben's parents are, if he's Salena's brother, & what is the connection with John R. in Walker Co.
