My brickwall is Newell Walton Carroll-my GGgrandfather. He was b 1816 in GA, mar Nancy IRBY in 1841 in Marshall Co., MS. She died in 1912 in Erath Co., TX. I found him in the 1860 census in DeSoto Co., MS.; Their children: ? H. Thomas Burpo(my Ggrandfather) R.M. Catherine William H. also possibly Munroe, Fanny, and Geems. I'd love to hear from any descendants--and to find out about Newell's ancestors. Tanya
