Surnames: Carroll Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/1hH.2ACEB/3552 Message Board Post: My great-grandfather Arthur Bernard Carroll, Jr., lived in St. Joseph, MO in the 1890s. He was born in about 1867 (birthplace unknown) and died in St. Joseph in 1896. Family oral history says that his father, Arthur Bernard Carroll, Sr., lived in Virginia, but I haven't been able to confirm this. Does anybody have anything that might fit with these facts? If so, I will be able to provide more details about later generations.
