In 1877 he married ANNIE J. SMITH of Shediac NB, and they were the parents of ten children(8 born in NB). The moved to Hennepin Co, Minneapolis, Minnesota in 1881 and to Aitkin County MN in 1888. I have seen postings of Carroll families in NB and I hope someone will see a connection to this individual. Unconfirmed sources list his father as WILLIAM JOHN CARROLL and his mother as CATHERINE FAY. Thanks for any help that anyone on the list can give in finding this family.
