Hi, I'm looking for an Andrew J. Carroll b. abt 1838 in TN. I have found on the 1900 Sullivan County, TN census, Andy Carroll age 61, Sally looks like age 30 or 40 (hard to read), May age 12, James age 10, Albert age 6. I had prev. thought my Andrew Carroll was the son of George and Sarah Carroll. George born in VA. But that Andrew was born in 1850 according to the Sullivan County, TN Census of 1880. Looks like I've been barking up the wrong tree for a VERY long time. Does anyone have any possibilities to who the parent's of Andrew b. 1838 are, or possible first wife's name of Andrew's? This Andrew married Sally Sams in 1889, she had 4 children 3 living both born in TN. Looks like the oldest child, May was born before the marriage..Sally Sams may had been married before also.. I need some research leads..your help is very much appreciated!! thanks for your time! Jan
