My grandmother was Anna Carroll b 1888 m 1915 to Thomas Cummings b 1883. They were married in Boston (1915). They were both from Ireland and arrived in Boston around 1904-6. They both worked at the Copley Plaza Hotel in Boston. They moved to NYC in 1915. Anna Carroll's siblings were: Mary "Molly", Catherine, Jane "Jennie", Isabella, Helen (or Helena) m 1930 to Philip McKinnon, Johanna, John "Jack" and Daniel. Their parents were William and Mary O'Brien of Ireland. I found death certs for some sisters and a marriage certificate for Helen m 1930 to Phillip McKinnon. (Jennie was married to Phillip McKinnon she died 1928 & 1930 he married Helen). I never found anything on her brothers. They lived in Dorchester and Roxbury. McKinnon lived in Cambridge and is listed on his marriage certificate under occupation "Proprietor (Auto Parts)". Other name connected with Carroll & Cummings is Byrnes.
