While in MS was a member of East Port Lodge No. 94. He and his wife Ann(e) Jones of KY had at least 7 surviving children. Two older sons, Henry and Charles, fought, as did DeRosey, in the Civil War as members of the Arkansas State Troops (CSA.) DeRosey was killed Jan. 1863 by Jawhawkers at his home in Charleston, Franklin Co. AR. Any help in finding his parents would be appreciated.--Carroll
