His mother's name is Margret Farrahey d.o.b.3 March 1801 d.o.d.8 April 1881 her obit gives her place of birth as Co. Longford,Irl. immigrated to Philadelphia,Pa. her first husband died some time around the time Philip was born. We were told that her husband's name was Charles Carroll also have been told that he was born in Pa. and was from Co.Longford Irl. also. Philip had two older sisters Catherine d.o.b. 3 april 1828 we asume in Irl. we have no proof of this except she was 49yr. 10mo. 19days when she died 22 Feb. 1878 in Perry Co. Ohio. The other sister I know very little about Anna Carroll d.o.b. 1829 her death certificate states she was born at sea. We think that is when Margret came to the U.S.A. with Charles. We belive that they lived in Co. Longford Irl. after thair marriage untill comming to the U.S.A.. Margaret Carroll Charters was sent a prayer book from a cousion John O'Carroll in Co.Cork Irl.
