Hi, Do you know anything else about him? I was struck by his middle name "Emmett". I have two Robert Emmett Carrolls (b.1852 NY & d.1902 WI) (b. 1872 PA & d. 1945 WI) and one Richard Emmett Carroll (b. aft. 1941 probably in WI). Evidently Emmett was a popular middle name in my family.
