    3. There is plenty of info on CC of C in various places. The Univ. of Maryland library for one. The Catholic Encyclopedia is on line. People with the Carroll surname must remember that CC of C had only one son (Charles) and his son had only daughters.

    3. While I usually agree with Max, here I must propose that Charles, son of Charles, son of CC of C did marry Mary Digges Lee and had a son, Charles Carroll (1828-1895) in MD.
