Together they had three children Daniel (1696-1751), Charles and Edward. This Daniel married Eleanor Darnell and had a son also called Daniel (1730-1796) who married an Eleanor Carroll. I think it was this Daniel Carroll of Rock Creek who signed the Constitution and Articles of Confederation. There is another possible sibling, Col Francis Carroll who survived the Battle of the Boyne (1690) and served in France in the Irish Brigade and died in the battle of Marsaglia.
