I have massed an awful lot of information. I have searched out others trees for Fleming, and all of them say he died at Chancellorsville, Not so, here is proof that the Fleming who died in civil war at Chancellorsville was born in 1844. Here is some of what I have, " Fleming Carroll who was born 1806 and married first to Margaret Welsh DID NOT FIGHT IN THE CIVIL WAR. iT WAS HIS SON WHO DID, AND DIED. Here is the proof. He could have died of natural causes, but in searching the newspapers of the area, I find that there was a severe flood in the area in 1960. Follows is that little bit of information I have found to date.
